What to Expect

Events may include teaching, meditation, reflection, discussion, or simple practice with others. Participation is invitational. You can always pass, listen quietly, or step out if you need a moment.

Events are hybrid, meaning some people attend in person and some attend on Zoom. Online participants are equal to in-person participants, meaning classes are designed with Zoom attendees in mind, and all participants are fully included in all activities, discussions and breakouts. No one is an afterthought.

It’s okay to show up late to a teaching event, but please be as quiet and non-disruptive as possible.

For all meditation events, we lock the door and close the Zoom room to late participants at 5 minutes past the hour. On Wednesday, that means 5:05 pm. We can not make exceptions to this policy.

Some teaching and main-room discussion may be recorded, Breakout rooms and private conversations are not recorded. If you attend in-person and want to stay off camera, ask the Front Door Volunteer for privacy seating.

Please treat personal sharing confidentially. You may talk about your own experience afterward, but please do not repeat other people’s personal stories.

Participate at your own level. You can pass, listen quietly, turn your camera off, or step away if you need a moment.

Nameless Mountain events can be meaningful, emotional, and supportive, but they are not therapy, crisis care, or emergency support. If you feel overwhelmed during an event, feel free to pause, step out and care for yourself. If you need assistance, please speak with the Front Door Volunteer, facilitator, or Zoom host.

If you have an accessibility need or practical question before attending, contact Gabe at gabe@namelessmountain.org.
