This five-day retreat is an immersive exploration of the commonalities between architecture, western self-psychology, and Dharma. Participants learn to read, repair and generate physical and psychological environments that bring about human flourishing. They also learn the fundamentals of self-study, map their own personal pattern language, and leave with a blueprint for lasting, satisfying change in their lives. Drawing on the works of Christopher Alexander, Buddhist scholarship, Zen arts, and contemporary Western psychology, the retreat helps participants map the structure of the self, recognize patterns of conflict and vitality, and cultivate a more coherent, alive way of being.
