Guest/Attendee Code of Conduct

Nameless Mountain exists to support growth, learning and community. These guidelines establish a respectful environment for everyone.

  • As a guest, we ask you to:

    1. Treat others with respect and care.

    2. Protect practice containers, when in session, by keeping your voice low and your presence non-disruptive.

    3. Be respectful of others’ boundaries and privacy.

    4. Follow staff guidance around safety, schedules, spaces and emergencies.

  • Please treat yourself and others with the utmost respect and compassion. We will not tolerate:

    1. Harassment, intimidation, threats or abuse.

    2. Discrimination based on identity or immutable traits.

    3. Speech and action undertaken with the intent to harm, such as gossip, ridicule or shame.

  • Take good care of one another’s boundaries and privacy, including those in the center itself. Please:

    1. Ask before touching anyone, be aware of nonverbal cues, and respect any “no” or negative signals you receive.

    2. Keep interactions with teachers, staff and other guests appropriate to the spiritual context of the program and center.

    3. Do not seek or initiate romantic or sexual contact with staff or teachers while on site or in connection with a program.

    4. Keep anything you hear from other guests confidential, both in and out of programming. You can share your own story, but don’t share anyone else’s.

    5. Do not take pictures, videos or any other recordings without explicit permission from Nameless Mountain.

  • Please be fully present while at Nameless Mountain, and help us keep you and others safe:

    1. Arrive and remain free from intoxication while on the premises.

    2. Alcohol and recreational drugs are not permitted on site without explicit permission from Nameless Mountain.

    3. Before arriving on premises, please contact Nameless Mountain staff and declare any weapons you expect to have on your person.

    4. If there is an emergency, follow all staff instructions. If you have a medical condition that could require urgent support, please notify staff before arriving on premises. You only need to disclose what is necessary for us to help keep you safe or get you the care you need.

  • Please help us maintain the appropriate context for a spiritual center.

    1. Quiet hours are from 9 PM to 9 AM every day, unless otherwise posted.

    2. Please keep your voices low near sleeping areas and practice spaces.

    3. Please use headphones for audio, and keep any phone calls private and brief.

    4. Keep common areas clean and orderly.

    5. Respect posted boundaries and private rooms.

    6. Treat the house, furnishings and grounds with mindful care. Follow leave-no-trace principles outdoors, and report any damage or hazards promptly.

  • If a problem arises:

    1. If it feels safe, address interpersonal issues directly and respectfully with the person in question.

    2. If it does not feel safe, or if the issue involves boundaries, harassment, intimidation, or repeated disruption, contact staff.

    How to Report:

Report concerns to the Executive Director, Gabe Broussard, by e-mailing gabe@namelessmountain.org

    • For urgent safety issues: call 911 and then notify Gabe.

    What happens next:
